I had a wonderful and unexpected dining experience at CF (Chef Flores) Food Kitchen this evening! This place is truly a gourmet delight. I started with the clam chowder, OMG! Honestly, I haven't had clam chowder this enjoyable in a good while. For the main course, I ordered the Steak Diane, which was perfectly cooked and not overly seasoned. I recommend getting it medium for the best flavor! The Beef Wellington was also incredible. I only sampled a bit, but it was so delicious that I almost wish I had ordered it. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed my Steak Diane. My daughter loved the Wagyu beef ravioli. She said it was absolutely delicious, and seeing her empty plate, I'd have to agree, LOL! For dessert I had the bread pudding, pleasurably complemented by the caramel sauce, it was the perfect way to end my meal! How did we find CF Kitchen ? My son was looking for a restaurant that served Beef Wellington, and CF kept coming up. He chose it for his birthday dinner, and we're so glad he did! I wish we had known about this spot sooner, but now that we do, we'll definitely be back! This so-called "hole in the wall" is a fabulous little jewel here in the West San Fernando Valley. In my opinion, it's comparable to Maggiano's, one of my all-time favorite places. The prices are reasonable, and I highly, highly recommend CF. It was a pleasure meeting Chef Flores, and our waitress, Silva was excellent, truly wonderful people!

Finally tried CF Food Kitchen! The space is small and comfortable with 1 side space for a larger group and approx 10 tables. The food was absolutely everything I had hoped for and read about. We went on NYE, 5 of us. To start, I ordered the Caesar salad. It was delightfully lemony (mild). My main course was Beef Wellington and each bite was a treat. It was tender and juicy and delicious. It came with potatoes, carrots and a small cube of sweet potato. I wrapped it up with a piece of delicious key lime pie. I took a bite of my husband pork chop which was thick and juicy with a wonderful flavor. His was accompanied by the same sides and he ordered the green salad which looked great. The service was outstanding. I think we drank a few gallons of water and never had to ask for more. Our food came out rather quickly, considering the restaurant was full, with people waiting. Everybody was kind and helpful and running around to make sure that everyone was pleased. We will absolutely go back to try their regular menu.

Such a nice little spot with excellent service, and high quality food/ingredients. VERY reasonably priced as well. I was able to get an appetizer, entree, dessert, as well as an extra appetizer and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg like other lower quality restaurants I've been to. In short very friendly waitress/chef and very good must try food

Ordered the Lunch Specials (Lemongrass Chicken and Branzino Fillet) and the Bread Pudding. Lemongrass Chicken- the dish was full of flavor and chicken was very tender. Branzino Fillet- they had to replace it with Black Cod, but it was still delicious. Bread pudding was served with warm, caramel, vanilla cream and strawberry. Also very yummy. Customer service was excellent! Would definitely come back!

Last minute invite to lunch with one of my besties. I have been meaning to come here for years. The location of this hidden gem in Granada Hills is hard to describe and parking is challenging but please don't let that discourage you from trying this local spot. We walked in and got a very warm welcome by Sylvia. My friend is a regular. They have just recently opened up for lunch and she was so happy to have is and sat us immediately. I ordered the crab cake for an appetizer and the pecan crusted chicken. Both were absolutely delicious. The crab cake had a mango salsa and a roulade sauce that was spicy and not hot. My chicken was so flavorful and tender and very moist. My chicken was served with mash potato and rustic vegetables. I ended my meal with one of the most delicious and refreshing key lime pie desserts I have ever tried. The Dining area is sparse and a little dates in decor but very clean and all the tables have crisp white tablecloths. For my first visit at lunch time I was very impressed and will definitely be returning soon for the dinner menu. I understand there are Chef specials on occasion. This restaurant truly is a hidden gem in the Valley. Perfect spot for a special occasion or celebration. $$ but it's worth it. I had a lovely experience and ate some delicious gourmet food.
